Being the chocoholic I am, hot fudge holds a very special place in my heart. I never realized how incredibly simple it is to make, but man is this recipe ever easy (and delicious!). It’s cheaper than store bought and makes a full 16oz mason jar worth of hot fudge. In the interest of full disclosure, I will admit that I ate several spoonfuls of it by itself, because it’s just that good. Give it a try and I bet you’ll never go back.
Super Easy Hot Fudge

Total Time15 mins
Ingredients
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter (it's easier/faster if the butter is softened)
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (you could use milk chocolate instead, but it will be VERY sweet)
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Melt the butter with the vanilla in a medium sauce pan over medium heat, then stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted and smooth.
- Add the Sweetened Condensed Milk, stirring until everything is combined and nice and smooth. The sauce is done when it is velvety smooth and silky (a/k/a so beautiful you will want to eat it all immediately).
